As we write these lines, we have just learned that Maze is officially recognized as a Shopify Select Partner, and we are pretty thrilled to share this news with you. For a bit of context, this has been on our vision board for about 3 years, and we have been working toward this recognition ever since.
From our very first Shopify store (still online for the curious 👀 peep Souvenir de famille) to our major projects in recent years: an express Laravel > Shopify migration with Speclite, a Hydrogen Headless Custom Storefront for Looky, and more — let’s be honest, at Maze we don’t just build Shopify stores. We build solid, high-performing, lasting eCommerce ecosystems. And this recognition is the cherry on top.

What does this mean in practice?
Shopify Select is the next level of the Shopify Partner Program. It’s the top 4% of partners who have demonstrated their expertise through major projects, sustained growth, and a real contribution to the Shopify ecosystem. In other words: Shopify recognizes Maze as a trusted partner for ambitious brands.
When the program launched, the Shopify trainer tried an analogy with seats in a baseball stadium (which we didn’t fully get 💀)… but apparently we now have some damn good seats in the ecosystem.
