Petit Coulou is a brand renowned for its products designed to protect babies during cold seasons. With the growth of its online store and the evolution of its catalog, the brand wanted to improve the performance of its Shopify site and offer a smoother browsing experience to its users. Maze was mandated to carry out a complete UX/UI redesign of the site to modernize the interface, improve product understanding, and optimize purchasing paths.

Petit Coulou products meet specific needs related to protecting babies from the cold. Users often need to understand the differences between several types of products, their uses, and their compatibility with different equipment. The challenge was therefore to design an experience capable of clarifying this information while maintaining simple, intuitive, and reassuring navigation for parents.


Approach
Strategic audit and user journey optimization
The project began with a thorough strategic audit to analyze the existing experience and identify key friction points in navigation and product presentation. Based on these findings, a multidisciplinary team worked to restructure the site's experience. The information architecture and user journeys were redesigned to simplify navigation and better guide visitors in discovering products. Detailed wireframes were used to redefine key pages of the site, particularly product pages, to improve information hierarchy and content readability before the design phase.
