Brief

Modernizing the platform and structuring the B2B experience

Senneco, a Quebec company specializing in anchoring systems and masonry products, wanted to modernize its digital environment for its 40th anniversary. The company had a primarily informational WordPress site that no longer met its operational needs or the evolution of its activities. Maze was mandated to rethink the entire digital platform: migrate the site to Shopify, structure a clearer product catalog, and integrate a transactional component to enable the implementation of a B2B ordering portal.

Structuring a technical offer with a simple experience

The main challenge lay in the very nature of Senneco's catalog. Masonry products are technical, highly standardized, and intended for a professional clientele with very specific needs. The challenge was to structure this information clearly while creating a fluid experience for users. It was also necessary to design an architecture capable of supporting the specificities of a B2B environment, where orders, product references, and purchasing logic differ significantly from general consumer commerce.

The project began with an analysis to understand the company's operational needs and the habits of its professional customers. Based on these insights, Maze rethought the catalog architecture, information hierarchy, and user journeys to simplify product access. Simultaneously, work on the visual identity and artistic direction was undertaken to modernize the brand while preserving the company's technical credibility. This approach allowed the platform, user experience, and brand communication to be aligned around a single system.
